ABOUT ACCORD

A centre built for continuity.

ACCORD Asha is the Advanced Centre for Chronic and Rare Diseases, founded to address the fragmentation in long-term care for people living with rare and chronic conditions in India.

Need for ACCORD like facilities

Rare disease is not only a diagnosis problem. For many families, the real failure is the system between diagnosis, treatment, rehabilitation, counselling, follow-up, financial navigation, caregiver support, and everyday life.

ACCORD was founded to make that system visible and to help connect the pieces of long-term care. We work to ensure that living with a rare or chronic disease does not mean navigating care alone. Start by exploring our services or diagnosis pathway.

The care gap

Rare and chronic conditions expose fragmentation in healthcare. Families frequently coordinate specialists, tests, therapy, medicines, travel, paperwork and follow-up themselves.

Our approach is to help make care more continuous by:

  • Finding the right diagnosis
  • Understanding what happens next
  • Coordinating multidisciplinary care
  • Supporting rehabilitation and quality of life
  • Supporting caregivers
  • Connecting clinicians, researchers and institutions
  • Building durable capacity for rare and chronic disease care in India
